when i was growing my mom was a single parent and she spend most of her time working. there were time where she was forced to leave me by myself because a babysitter were too expensive, my aunts were working, and since we were new to this country my mom didn't know a lot of people. Growing up by yourself is though especially when you don't have adult who can answer your questions accurately. When a child is not getting inform properly the child is force to find answers for themselves by asking peers from school, family members, neighbors, and social media. a child can be mislead by the wrong information . An adult is forced to work 8 hour per day that benefit world wide and society. We have to work in order to survive regardless of our situation. If we work to support society what are ways that society can support us individually?
I am passionate about this issue because my generation has gone far on on understanding physical behavior and human activities. Kids don't want to go outside to play physical activities youngest kids are based on social media, digital video games or they rather stay inside and watch television. I live in a low income neighborhood where my people are divided by violence and gang rivals so if kids want to go outside they can be mistaken by a gang affiliate, he/she might witness a violent scene that can impact them psychological or the development of their behavior.
Through this project i hope to accomplish a better understanding of how juvenile incarceration impacts a child's physical behavior and way we can prevent kids from violence and getting incarcerated. we can probably start informing people in our neighborhood of the alternatives programs that the juvenile detention center can offer . We can also inform parents of how to keep on track of what their kids are learning. Im looking forwards to find a way for every kid to have a adult to talk to. It's important to communicate to others about your problems it releases stress and it prevents your from doing dumb choices.
